The Strong Museum Summer Camp offers unique museum-based learning experiences that will spark the imagination and allow campers to learn and discover through play and exploration. Each week campers will be provided with one-of-a-kind learning opportunities engaging with different museum professionals and exhibits along with teacher-led classroom time to further investigate and expand on these themes.

Focusing on skills in acting, singing, and dance — instructors will lead campers in learning a short 12–15-minute full stage production. Campers will be introduced to costumes, sets, props, and more all while having fun onstage! Each camper is guaranteed a role in the show. Perfect for kids coming out of their shell or for those ready to take center stage and hit their spotlight!

OFC’s teen intensive program (or Pre-Professional Program) is geared towards students considering a future career in the performing arts. This camp is an “intensive” where the show is auditioned, rehearsed, and performed in a short time period. Those auditioning and registering for Pre-Professional Teen programs should be prepared to commit themselves to a rigorous rehearsal procecess with the expectation of work being done at home and outside of the rehearsal room.

OFC’s kid camp shows are typically 60-minutes in length and include full cast musical numbers as well as opportunities to feature soloists, specialty dancers, and supporting characters. Oftentimes these are Junior (Jr.) productions which are a 60-minute version of a full Broadway show, the Jr. versions reduce verses in long songs, cut subplots or unneeded musical numbers, and make the scripts easy to read and memorize for student performers.

Calling all dancers old and new to join us for our 3 day "Descendants" themed dance camp! This high energy dance camp is centered around learning the basics of Jazz and Hip Hop dance styles. It will feature "Descendants" themed songs, dancing, crafts, activities, and a final in-studio performance presentation for family and friends! Small snack is included.

Ms.Mason's Art Club is offering summer sessions for middle school students! July 14 to 18, July 28 to August.1 and August 11 to 15. all sessions are weekly 9:30 to 12noon. Spend a week learning about the clients, groups and populations occupational therapists (OTs) work with, the different settings OTs work in, and the variety of everyday life activities (occupations) OT provides to promote health, well-being, and the ability to participate in the important activities in client’s lives!

The program is offered for children 5 years and up, for the first time riders to the intermediate. Participants will learn all aspects of horse husbandry including grooming, tacking, riding lessons each day and feeding. A “horse” type craft will be worked on during the afternoon along with other fun activities involved with horses!
