Summer Camp at the Memphis Zoo TEST CAMP
The Memphis Zoo offers a Summer Camp program designed for children aged JK-8th grade. The camp provides a fun and educational experience where campers explore the fascinating world of animals through activities such as games, crafts, tours, keeper chats, live animal visits, and interactive experiments.

The Memphis Zoo offers a Summer Camp program designed for children in grades JK-8th. The camp, known as "Zoo Camp," provides a fun and educational experience where campers explore the fascinating world of animals through various activities, including games, crafts, tours, keeper chats, live animal visits, and interactive experiments. The program focuses on learning about endangered species and ways to save them.
June 2nd to August 1st, excluding July 4th
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Members: $250 per week
Non-members: $280 per week
Available for purchase at $45 per camper per week.
- Available for an additional $125 per week, covering 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The camp offers various themed weeks, including:
- Exploring the ABCs with the help of zoo animals.
- Traveling the world in one week through different habitats.
- **Scales, Feathers, Fur: Nature’s Body Coverings: Exploring nature through journaling and hands-on activities.
- Discovering how animals are sorted into classes.
- Exploring nocturnal animals and their adaptations.
- Discovering animals that fly.
- Combining science, technology, engineering, art, and math in the zoo world.
